Content is great. Can't fault it. The problem is the quality of the paper and binding.I've had this book for 3 months. Already the binding and pages in the index have come loose...I'm incredibly careful with this book considering it's $100, and even still, the pages have fallen out.In addition, the ink smudges when turning the pages. As I said, I'm very careful.That being said, I've highlighted my book and the ink doesn't show through on the other side.Pencil marking doesn't work though because the pages are gloss.

5 star material in the book, 1 star printing and quality of the book itself. I also own the previous 2 editions of this book and this is by far the worst quality version. The pages are thinner, the ink smears easily, the resolution and color of the photographs and photomics is worse from previous editions and varies from page to page. Last week the binding starting coming undone and pages came out of the index. My 10 year old edition (and by far the heaviest used version) is in better shape than this 9 month old version. Embarrassing effort on the part of the publisher.
Great book, easy to read with many good pictures
Excellent pathology book with pictures to get a better understanding of the content. Currently using it for my Oral Pathology course in dental school.
Great textbook and photos. Helped me get an A in oral pathology. This is one book I will be keeping on hand for my entire career.
Remains the iconic standard reference. Very useful in keeping me in touch with my students' curricula!
