This book has a good amount of text for book reports. We use it with our 2nd grade classes. The pictures however, were made to simulate real life but the illustrations are not that interesting. The book is good quality. It is good for book reports but, I do not believe most children would just pick it up and read it unless they really like baseball and Jackie Robinson.

My son likes this book a lot.

My 9 year old enjoyed it very much!

My students loved the story.
