Excellent reference to have on hand for students in basic law classes

Concise and helpful. As a beginning law student, fits my needs.

This was a good book for being handy and resourceful in reviewing terms for my paralegal course. I'd heard Black's was one of the best series and I now agree.

It's a dictionary and it's well-wriiten. If you are studying law and you need help, this is a good book.

It works. An actual "Black's Law" book would have been better or an Oxford dictionary.

Although it is cheap, there's not very much in it. I was disappointed not to find any of the terms I needed reading cases for my first week of class. Spend the money and buy the regular 8th edition.

As far as any dictionary is concerned, this one is a bit short. If you work in the legal field, you probably know most terms included in it. If you are beginning or do not work with Law, this may be helpful.
