About the Author

Alexander Strauch was raised in New Jersey and converted to Christ at a Bible camp in New York State. He received his undergraduate degree from Colorado Christian University and went on to earn his Master's in Divinity degree from Denver Seminary. For over thirty years he has served as an elder at Littleton Bible Chapel near Denver, Colorado. Additionally, he has taught philosophy and New Testament literature at Colorado Christian University. A gifted Bible teacher and popular speaker, Mr. Strauch has helped thousands of churches worldwide through his expository, writing ministry. I rated this book excellent because it is very helpful and useful. I enjoyed read and using the information that was written. I would recommend this book to everyone that wants and needs a book that not only gives important information about different recipes, but it gives an encouraging word also. I used this book to teach and encourage the people in my church. I would recommend this seller to everyone...very timely in delivery.

Great guide. Used it a couple of times already and will again for future to help facilitate the training of future elders. Its contents are well written and thought provoking. It really helps communication and discussion regarding the proper training of future elders.

This resource is set up to be used as a mentoring guide one on one or one on two or three. If you use it for a class, it is difficult to assign both the reading book and this study guide because it is so in depth that the average man will have a hard time completing the assignments. Nevertheless, it is well worth whatever effort men will put into it.

My husband is going through this with our pastor and he loves it. It is very thorough and gives clear and concise examples on how to implement the lessons.

One of the best tools for taking men through the process of becoming an elder. It does not make an elder, but it makes it easier to discern and affirm the qualified elder in your midst. Regardless if they come out an elder, they understand the biblical role of an elder and are better because of it.
