Review

"In a world where the news screams more bad than good, where teenagers should not have to be exposed to bullying or any type of harassment, and where eye contact and listening is a fallen art, Mike Kimmel restores hope in his latest book, Monologues for Teens, reminding us there really is more good than bad in this world. The true gift that will continue to inspire us lies in Mike Kimmel's words, encouraging teens to not only change the way they look at life, but to stand out at an audition when their fellow actors are desperately trying to fit in."     - Casting Networks

From the Author

It is a privilege and an honor to make a creative contribution to the entertainment industry though the writing of this new book series for teenagers, tweens, and children. My goal is that Monologues for Teens delivers 1,000 times more value than readers pay for it. I hope teenagers will use this book to connect powerfully with audiences - and make solid gains for themselves as serious, dedicated, and successful young actors.                          Parents, teachers, and librarians will find no bad language or inappropriate scenarios in this book. Groucho Marx said using bad language was a sign of intellectual laziness by actors and writers. He was 100 per cent right. These monologues are clean, family-friendly, and model positive attitudes and behavior for young actors.

I got this book for my two nieces who are interested in acting. They absolutely love the monologues. They had so much fun performing "Little Green Men" one of the monologues in the book in class that they got cast in a school play! Thank you Mr. Mike Kimmel with an outstanding book of monologues for teens. We look forward to more of your writing that comes straight from the heart.

All of Mike Kimmel’s books are awesome... this latest is no exception. The monologues are not only perfect for teens but are also thought-provoking and positive. My son is 18 and even he is able to use and learn from them. I recommend this and Mr. Kimmel’s books highly.

bought as a gift for aspiring teenage actor, after breezing though it i decided to donate it to the local library. I'll get something more adult, more classical

This is a great book for teenagers who are interested in the stage! It doesn't matter if they just like to act as a hobby or if they want to pursue an acting career - they will appreciate this book. The monologues are all different. Some are humorous, some are inspiring, and some are poignant. The monologues are concise (one page long) so they are manageable for teens. I bought one for our kids to share, and another as a gift for their friend. Thumbs up all around since all the kids love this book! It makes a great gift!

Mike Kimmel has done it again! This collection of monologues for young actors is well written and thought provoking. Highly recommended.

The monologues are carefully thought out and skillfully written. Many seem to go in unique directions. The author has a keen sense for monologues and dialogues. Highly recommend this book.

This book has some good dramatic scenes and good comedy scenes . Great book

These are ok, my son hasn't looked through this book much yet.

About the Author

Beverly Cleary is one of America's most beloved authors. As a child, she struggled with reading and writing. But by third grade, after spending much time in her public library in Portland, Oregon, she found her skills had greatly improved. Before long, her school librarian was saying that she should write children's books when she grew up.Instead she became a librarian. When a young boy asked her, "Where are the books about kids like us?" she remembered her teacher's encouragement and was inspired to write the books she'd longed to read but couldn't find when she was younger. She based her funny stories on her own neighborhood experiences and the sort of children she knew. And so, the Klickitat Street gang was born!Mrs. Cleary's books have earned her many prestigious awards, including the American Library Association's Laura Ingalls Wilder Award, presented to her in recognition of her lasting contribution to children's literature. Dear Mr. Henshaw won the Newbery Medal, and Ramona Quimby, Age 8 and Ramona and Her Father have been named Newbery Honor Books. Her characters, including Beezus and Ramona Quimby, Henry Huggins, and Ralph, the motorcycle-riding mouse, have delighted children for generations.

I read these books as a child, and now I just got them to read to my 5 year old. I was getting bored reading picture books to my daughter, and I thought this might change up the routine a little bit. I have been reading these to her, and she LOVES them. She loves the stories about Ramona and her antics. Even thought she can't read them herself yet, she loves when I read to her, and these really are the perfect thing to read to a 5 year old. I love it because I get a little more storyline than the usual nightly picture-book, and I think it's great for her reading comprehension abilities as well. Highly recommended.

I absolutely LOVE reading Ramona to my class of 2nd graders. Amazingly, it is still relatable even in 2016. The kiddos absolutely adore the characters, and I love sharing my love of this series with them. :)

My daughter loved this collection. In the week after it arrived, she read 5 of the books in the set, and I was sorta peeved at first. I know it’s great that my daughter reads, especially in this modern era, but books aren’t free. (I don’t trust her with library books. She loves her books a little too well.) So I’m always hoping that it occupies her for awhile. And that’s where this set earns its 5* rating. Most of the books in my daughter’s bookcase are “one and done” sorta books. You spend $20-30 on a boxed set and she blazes through them and they get retired to their place of honor, never to be touched again and certainly never to be donated, traded or recycled. So the stack grows, and more bookcases get constructed. However, not with Ramona. Over the past weeks and months, I have seen her reading and rereading Ramona’s exploits. It’s not uncommon to hear spontaneous bursts of laughter as my daughter explains how Ramona thinks that carpet is a pet that lives in a car. The books are engaging for my 8-year old voracious reader. She relates with the characters and their struggles and sees a piece of herself in both Ramona and her older sister Beezus. It’s obvious that Ms. Cleary’s sense of humor resonates with my daughter, and now the author has the honored place at my daughter’s literary dinner party.“Mom, if I had a dinner party and I invited all of my favorite authors, Beverly Cleary would have a seat next to Ursula K. LeGuin.”

The Ramona books are fabulous! I loved them as a kid, and now my 8-y-o is devouring them. They truly are timeless. I love that Ms. Cleary's most recent book, Ramona's World, is also included. I had never read it and it was a joy to catch up!Beautiful presentation and illustrations, too. The perfect birthday present for an elementary school student.

The Ramona books very realistically depict a little girl coping with being the youngest child in her family & how she tries her best at school, but some times things do not work out well for her, in spite of her great intentions! I read all the books in the mid seventies when I worked in Children's Services in a public library. Many real-life Ramonas came to my programs & they were as lovable as Ramona in the stories. I will re-read these books in the near future.

There are two of the same book (Ramona and her Mother) in the packaged box set. Therefore it is missing the Ramona the Pest book.

Received a duplicate of one book and therefore one of the others was missing. Problem of quality control by manufacturer.

My set contained 2 copies of Ramona the Brave and did not include Beezus and Ramona

Defending the Master Race: Conservation, Eugenics, and the Legacy of Madison Grant, by Jonathan Peter Spiro

From Publishers Weekly

Spiro's unfortunately-titled new book is a comprehensive examination of a powerful but nearly forgotten American figure, Madison Grant. A chief proponent of conservation, Grant spearheaded the creation of several national parks but also, as one of the most fervent proponents of science-based racism, introduced the world to the concept of the "master race." Grant's theories had an immeasurable effect on the turn-of-the-century world; a patrician academic who never held elected office, Grant nevertheless became a close confidante to several presidents, helping shape national policy on issues including conservation to immigration. Spiro also explores the complex history of the international eugenics movement and how it influenced organizations from the Nazi party to Planned Parenthood. Spiro's text is organized by theme, sacrificing clear chronology for a better grasp of Grant's pervasive influence-a worthwhile trade that keeps the narrative comprehensive and enlightening, peeling back layers of history to expose America's casual racism and the disturbing ways American law set the precedent for Nazi atrocities. A superb re-introduction to one of America's most complex modern figures, Spiro's account can only be faulted for a tendency to dig too deeply, occasionally stalling in minutiae. "Spiro's text is organized by theme, sacrificing clear chronology for a better grasp of Grant's pervasive influence--a worthwhile trade that keeps the narrative comprehensive and enlightening, peeling back layers of history to expose America's casual racism and the disturbing ways American law set the precedent for Nazi atrocities. A superb reintroduction to one of America's most complex modern figures."-- "Publishers Weekly""Accessible and engaging . . . Spiro's biography recaptures an important strain of early twentieth-century American thought and reflects the complexity of its connections to other major ideas of the period."-- "Pacific Historical Review""In this exhaustively researched biography, Spiro masterfully details Grant's ideas and accomplishments with wit and style. . . .Grant has long deserved better than he has gotten from historians and at long last Jonathan Spiro has given Madison Grant exactly what he deserved."-- "Journal of the History of Biology""In spotlighting the connection between wildlife management and eugenics, Spiro has put his finger on something important. The obsession with improving breeding stock linked Grant with Hitler on the right and with other more respectable eugenicists on the left, including Margaret Sanger (who promoted birth control) and Theodore Roosevelt (who hated it)."-- "The New Republic"

A good biography of Madison Grant, well researched and with many illuminating anecdotes.

A common cartoon theme has a conflicted person with a devil sitting on one shoulder and whispering in that ear, and an angel doing likewise on the other. Madison Grant is perhaps the most extreme example imaginable of such a conflicted person. He was arguably the single most important figure in jump-starting the conservation movement in the United States and had a heroic role in saving the California redwoods and the bison. He was also arguably the most vicious "pseudoscientific" racist of the Twentieth Century, and his book "The Passing of the Great Race" (1918) influenced American society and policy for the worse for decades and ultimately became a mainstay of Nazi ideology--a personal favorite of Hitler. Grant preferred to remain behind the scenes as much as possible. He was a masterful organizer and manipulator of public opinion and the political process for good and for evil. His typical modus operandi was to create multiple organizations with broadly-interlocking directorates, flooding media and public discourse with what appeared to be an irresistible "critical mass" of quality judgments. He was the puppet master who engineered the extreme and explicitly racist restrictions on immigration enacted in the 1920s. The notion that immigration restriction was an "environmental" or "resource conservation" issue, which he pushed in tying his two passions together, is still heard today. In fact, the current debate on immigration reform recycles many themes Grant and his various allies and fronts exploited some 90 years ago to great effect. That in itself is troubling.Today's conservationists would justly honor Grant's memory were conservation his only legacy. Instead, the linkage between conservation and bigotry is a legacy nearly all of us would prefer to forget. But we mustn't forget it-- lest we be doomed to repeat it.Spiro's book is a tour de force, achieved despite the convenient "disappearance" of much of Grant's paper trail. It is also a superb history of the interface of policy, politics, and science in the first third of the 20th Century. It is rich in quotable quotes and anecdotes, and not the least of its achievements is to document the fact that most of the leaders of the eugenics movement in America, who were so concerned about "breeding better babies" and who clearly considered themselves to be of superior stock, never married or had children! That includes Grant, who preferred the company of like-minded men in manly sports like big-game hunting and in exclusive, finely-appointed clubs where women were not welcome. This is a very important book that deserves a wide readership.

Jonathan Spiro is a superb historian who uses a broad range of sources and sharp insights into American society to reveal the elite WASP men who pushed for restricting immigration in order to keep their social class dominant, created vast National Parks to preserve habitat for the prize big game they hunted--even built the Bronx Zoo to be sure the species didn't become extinct--and maneuvered to bring down anthropologist Franz Boas, spokesman against their racism. Spiro shows us the contradictions in the character of Madison Grant, Boas' nemesis and leader of the WASP eugenics movement, who never married nor had a child, nor ever had to earn a living. This book is important social history and, so well written, a pleasure to read.

Jonathan Spiro has written a masterpiece! His book is much more than a biography of Madison Grant. The first 100 pages alone would make a lucid book on the history of the conservation movement in the U.S., with fascinating details of who did what. Other authors have begun their discussion of Madison Grant emphasizing his part in promoting eugenics, with less emphasis on his role in saving America's biological legacy. By starting with Grant's central role in conserving America's wildlife and forests, in the context of his being a member of the New York elite at a time of maximum immigration, Spiro has helped me to understand how an educated, caring person could have embraced the extreme racism of eugenics. He is a rare author that has created a page-turner from a exceedingly complex topic that is easily made overwhelming or boring. He is a genuine story-teller.

This book provides a mesmerizing portrait of a largely forgotten- yet hugely important-figure in modern American history. Grant and his eugenics cronies wielded immense influence over contemporary politics, but have largely dissappeared from our society's conscience today. In addition to detailing Grant's "exploits" in the "field" of scientific racism (such as advocating for forced sterilization of the handicapped and exclusion of jewish immigrants), the book contains in-depth coverage his role in the early conservation movement. Spiro's coverage of Grant's efforts in conserving California's redwood forests is particularly well written. Finally, Spiro's ability to explain the links between Grant's conservationist streak and his faith in eugenics are insightful and thought-provoking.Historians will appreciate the highly detailed appendix and plentiful endnotes.

Let's call it an eye-opener.I bought it because i wanted to find out about the origins of America's racism. To my utter surprise, i found out about its rebirth as a "science"and its widespread prevalence during the 20's (meaning, not even a hundred years ago). I read about forced sterilizations, experiments with live-human subjects, the brutal re-classification of Americans based on spurious "racial science" and America's unbounded hostility to females and anyone deemed "unfit:.I also learned that Americans more or less wrote the script for the massive ethnic cleansing we call the Holocaust. and found the hidden poisoned Spring from which one of our two major parties is still drinking.I am now reading all I can find.,

I'm confused. I bought the Kindle version and the Chapter links in the table of contents just takes me to a list of footnotes or a bibliography of sources for that chapter. There's no text or narrative in these chapters. What am I missing?

Content is great. Can't fault it. The problem is the quality of the paper and binding.I've had this book for 3 months. Already the binding and pages in the index have come loose...I'm incredibly careful with this book considering it's $100, and even still, the pages have fallen out.In addition, the ink smudges when turning the pages. As I said, I'm very careful. That being said, I've highlighted my book and the ink doesn't show through on the other side.Pencil marking doesn't work though because the pages are gloss.

Like brand new

5 star material in the book, 1 star printing and quality of the book itself. I also own the previous 2 editions of this book and this is by far the worst quality version. The pages are thinner, the ink smears easily, the resolution and color of the photographs and photomics is worse from previous editions and varies from page to page. Last week the binding starting coming undone and pages came out of the index. My 10 year old edition (and by far the heaviest used version) is in better shape than this 9 month old version. Embarrassing effort on the part of the publisher.

Great book, easy to read with many good pictures

Excellent pathology book with pictures to get a better understanding of the content. Currently using it for my Oral Pathology course in dental school.

Great textbook and photos. Helped me get an A in oral pathology. This is one book I will be keeping on hand for my entire career.

Remains the iconic standard reference. Very useful in keeping me in touch with my students' curricula!

Review

"This work gives a clear and rational account of the highest conceptions of Hinduism. The happy blend of Eastern conceptions with Western terminology makes the book intelligible even to the inexpert and it need hardly be added, instructive. Professor Radhakrishnan has shown that in their perception of the goal, in the acuteness of their reasoning, and in the boldness of their conceptions, the Indian thinkers are second to none."--Times Literary Supplement"Comprehensive and authoritative. No such adequate account of Hindu thought has appeared in English. The spirit, motive, and method of this great book are admirable." --Church Times

This is a wonderful book... but please be aware that it's the second edition as of 1929. Yes, there is a new introduction - but it's three pages long. I am not complaining; Radhakrishnan writes in absolutely gorgeous, articulate, nuanced English, and his grasp of the ideas and ability to transmit, contextualize and evaluate them is completely wonderful. And he used to be PRESIDENT OF INDIA!!! The very idea of a scholar/politician/philosopher existing in our time and leaving us such a wonderful masterpiece boggles my mind.I've been studying and practicing Buddhism for 25 years, and I wanted to learn more about the origin and context of the Buddha's teaching, and that has been immensely inspiring and helpful to me - I recommend it. Whatever your reasons for approaching this subject, I strongly recommend that if you're not already somewhat familiar with it, you start with "Indian Philosophy, a very short introduction," by Sue Hamilton. It's a 150 page book that will give you a wonderful entry into the vast survey that Radhakrishnan's two volumes and 1500 pages will provide you. The Very Short Introduction will also give you a good sense of whether you want to explore the Radhakrishnan or other works (for instance, the Upanishads and the Bhagavad Gita). Indian Philosophy: A Very Short IntroductionI'm so grateful I came across Sue Hamilton's book and I'm so grateful to have both volumes of Radhakrishnan's. In any case, whatever your quest or journey is, please continue. Blessed be.

The most reliable writer on these subjects I am aware of.

Wonderful book. Arrived on time from seller.

Wonderful!!!

Great product. Great service.

This book is a wonderful introduction to Indian Philosophy. It is not too fluffy but it is not so hard that it cannot be understood.

I bought this book to validate one of my friend's claim who during our discussions mentioned that Hinduism as a religion has been strongly influenced by Greek religion and cited it as the reason for similar God's in both histories. I found a reasonable explanation in this book as to why this claim is made and why is it likely not true - so the book served its purpose. It's a great book to learn about the spiritual development in India. The author discusses the key teachings of Vedas, Upanishads, Epics (Ramayana and Mahabharata), Jainism and Buddhism along with there chronological development and influence on each other. The book has tone and writing style of a college textbook which makes it a difficult read.

Scholarly and immense, but in accessible Victorian prose. I'm not surprised it's remained the standard text for so long - who would now even begin to attempt to collate the whole of a civilisation's philosophy! Simultaneously ambitious and sprawling, complete and partial, disciplined and wayward, pedantic and phantastic, objective and personal, this worthy tome is a gathering and a marker. It serves well as fundamental introduction to the avenues of understanding that the mode of `Indian' experience must go down to achieve wisdom. Some prior interest in Indian philosophy - and therefore some patience - is presumed even in its Victorian compendiousness. My interest in reading often depended on which parts I found most pertinent. The first hundred pages or so go over the polytheism/henotheism of the Veda, and there is some accounting of the various Hindu deities etc. I was happier once we got to the Upanishads and, from there, the on-going reconfigurations and considerations of the absolute that is the contribution of India to world philosophy - the various formulations of the ground that have been overlooked [or one of which has been posited thoughtlessly as absolute and primary] by the narrower, religiously influenced `western' tradition. But for such an apparently comprehensive tome, it does sometimes feel sketchy. The book is not self-contained. Radhakrishnan frequently refers to things he himself hasn't yet described within his own text: he references sunyata without having explained what that might be. In fact, he steers clear of an exposition of the way in which Buddhism might be fundamentally different to Hinduism. It increasingly appears, in the course of his writing, that Radhakrishnan is not entirely self-effacing. The book begins to give an interesting, historical sense of the time in which it was written [first pub. 1922] and the intellectual and social predispositions of its author as well as the state of historical knowledge at the time. Radhakrishnan writes about Indian Philosophy within the purview of Schopenhauer, Hegel, the then current fashions and initial understandings of western expositors, and his own Hinduism.Radhakrishnan finds Hinduism more tenable than Buddhism: `As a philosophy and religion, the Gita is more complete than Buddhism...' p449. He negatively characterises the Hinayana, `It is not a healthy minded doctrine. A sort of world hatred is its inspiring motive.' Academically, and logically, he is unable to come to terms with the relativistic negation of an absolute in the basic premises of Buddhism. Apparently the Mahayana is superior to the untenable Hinayana because, `A metaphysical substratum is admitted.' Eh? He often insists that Buddha never denied the reality of the Atman: `Buddha is silent about the Atman enunciated in the Upanishads. He neither affirms nor denies its existence.' He then contradicts such assertions: for example, when positively quoting Nagarjuna on the very next page: `The Tathagata sometimes taught that the Atman exists, and at other times he taught that the Atman does not exist...' [p326/7.] Radhakrishnan does not clarify what it is that is being asserted and what denied, and how this is or is not Atman, or what is intended in relation to Atman/Brahman by the 'neither existence nor non-existence' of the middle way. Nor does he investigate the implications of emptiness; he has instead an emotional reaction against it - which itself is symptomatically interesting - and his language gets surprisingly graphic. The areas of text that are most fractured, contradictory and incoherent [though over a large Victorian scale of tens of pages, smuggled in to an apparent propriety] are those where he attempts to reconcile his respect for Buddha as a sage with his Hindu convictions. His exposition comes under pressure and seems to me to be contradictory - precisely because he cannot give up on there being an independently existing transcendent reality. His exposition continually reinvests Buddhism with this. And reinvests Hinduism with the insights of Buddhism. He provides a brilliantly clinical and precise exposition of the tenets of the Madhyamika and then says: but 'the whole show of Nagarjuna's logic is a screen for his heart, which believed in an absolute reality.' And yet, in a way, this is perhaps what happened historically with the consolidations of Shankara. It would seem equally churlish however [and incorrect for a Buddhist] to deny that Buddhism is intimately related to Hinduism; dependent as all theorizing and insight is upon the conditions of its time.Or, perhaps, the centrality of emptiness to contemporary understandings of Buddhism are themselves just a fashion and focus of now. Certainly Radhakrishnan seems to be on firmer and more trans-historical ground in his exegesis of the fundamentals of Hindu understanding. Therein, this book is colossal and the worthy prose often climbs to an impressive and inescapable ecstatic.

This was an okay read aloud for my classroom. The students had a hard time getting into this story and for the first few days asked for me to ditch it, but we stuck with the book and it was a fine read. This book has a mystery that was fun to follow along with, but the ending tied things up too quickly. Many of the 7th graders in my building were reading this book so maybe it is for an older crowd.

A fantastic read for both boys and girls!!! Finding Mighty tells the story of twelve year old neighbors Myla and Peter, who search for the link between Myla’s necklace and the disappearance of Peter’s brother, Randall. There are lots of interesting worlds explored here, graffiti and parkour among them. It also takes place in New York City and the suburb of Dobbs Ferry, NY which might be exciting for local readers. On the search for Randall, Myla and Peter both find themselves on the edge of danger which makes this book a real page-turner, but Chari doesn't just stay on the surface. Complex and diverse characters, friendships, and family bonds are all at work here in another great mystery by Sheela Chari!

Sheela Chari has done it again. Finding Mighty was a very engaging read, with plot twists and a web of events that are gradually revealed along the way. The characters are well-developed, with insights into their thoughts and motivations as they each try to figure out their piece of the puzzle and who they can trust among the other characters. I could not put it down!

New York sixth grader and Indian American Myla (no one can pronounce her actual name) dreams of being noticed…she’s short, and doesn’t see anything remarkable in herself. Mixed-race Peter just wants to hang out with his older brother Randall since their mother is busy (when she’s not nervous about something) and their father has been dead for years. Myla buys a necklace with an Om (Sanskrit letter) on it hoping it will draw attention, and a creepy guy tries to get it back from her. Peter’s brother vanishes…and then their mother insists they move AGAIN. Parallel mysteries narrated by the two main characters intersect as the two meet and (slowly) learn to trust each other. What does the Om necklace have to do with the graffiti Om tags appearing around New York & suburbs? How does that tie in to Randall’s disappearance? And does any of this have anything to do with Peter’s father’s death or the diamonds his grandmother is reported to have helped to steal? Sheela Chari’s second mystery is as intriguing as her Edgar-award nominated first mystery Vanished. Very realistic, intelligent, urban middle-classed tween characters people (and solve) this page-turning mystery. Well worth every young mystery reader’s time.(Hmm, you say, a sentence in that review sounds very familiar after at look at the book jacket...wonder why... :-)

Awesome to work with

Let’s first start off by saying that the book Finding Mighty written by Sheela Chari is a mysterious and crazy book. This book is filled with multiple different details and obstacles that the characters have to travel through. Throughout the book the characters are stuck finding out who Mighty is or where he is staying. Randall aka Mighty’s brother, Peter, meets a girl, Myla, at school and she is then involved in his messed up family life. Mighty has always wanted to follow in his dad’s footsteps after his father died. Also the chapters are in different character’s point of views, so one chapter can be Myla’s point of view as if she is telling the chapter. Then the next one can be told by Peter or Randall. There are many main characters with many different personalities. One main character is Myla, she is very curious throughout the whole book. She is always wondering what is going on and what the whole diamond thing is about. Myla even read Randall’s black book just so she can find out what the tagging was all about. The second main character is Peter, he is also curious, he can also be very outgoing. He is always trying to follow Randall on his runs; once Peter was following Randall and he caught him jumping along the railroad tracks. The last main character is Randall. Randall is always a follower and is always trying to follow in his dad’s footsteps. He is trying to tag just like his dad, and he even took his dad’s tag for himself. He did this so that his dad’s tag would stay around. I like this book and everything, but the thing is that it isn’t kinda predictable once you start reading it. If you like mysteries you can read this book, but if you like more books that are a surprise in most parts then go reach for this book.

What starts at a misunderstanding at school, ends up bringing twelve-year-olds Myla and Peter together to solve the disappearance of Peter's brother, Randall and the connection it has to Myla's missing necklace. As Myla and Peter follow the graffiti trail left behind by Randall, they discover family secrets that involve stolen diamonds, mysterious deaths, and a dangerous gang who will stop at nothing to find Randall and the hidden diamonds.Story alternates between first person which gives greater insight to Myla, Peter and Randall thoughts and actions. The backdrop of New York and Dobb's Ferry with the emphasis on graffiti art will strike a cord to inner city youth. While the plot feels contrived at times, the action takes has the reader anxiously running with the characters through darkened streets, hoping they can dodge not only shady gang members but also cops. A solid mystery for the middle school reader.Review as it originally appears on my blog, Boys To Books.
